AI FAQ Generator for Support Teams

Paste a policy, a product page or your own notes and get a FAQ drafted from it: 5, 8 or 12 questions, written for customers or for the support team. Nothing invented.

The answers already exist. The returns policy says what the window is, the pricing page says what happens at renewal, the onboarding doc says who can invite a teammate. What the help center lacks is the question-shaped version — the one a customer types into search and the one an agent reaches for first. Writing that version is dull work, so it waits, and the same twenty questions keep arriving as tickets.

This tool drafts it. Paste the source, choose how many questions you want and who they are for, and a model reads the text once and writes question-and-answer pairs from it. It is instructed to use only what is in the text: no prices, windows or steps it wasn't given, and a fact that isn't in the source doesn't appear in the FAQ. Nothing you paste is stored beyond a short cache of the result. It is a draft — read it before you publish it.

Example: FAQ drafted from a returns policy

Q: How long do I have to return an item?
A: 30 days from the date of delivery. The item must be unused and in its original packaging.

Q: Who pays for return shipping?
A: We do, when the item is faulty or not what you ordered. For a change of mind, the prepaid return label costs $6.95 and is deducted from your refund.

Q: When will I receive my refund?
A: Within 5 business days of the return arriving at our warehouse, to the payment method you used. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.

Q: Can I return a sale item?
A: Yes, on the same 30-day terms. Items marked final sale on the product page cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
How to read it

What each input means

  1. 01

    Source text

Anything with facts in it: a policy page, a product description, release notes, the notes from a call with the product team. Up to 20,000 characters. Plain text works best, so strip the navigation and footer if you are pasting from a web page.

  2. 02

    How many questions

Eight suits a policy or a single product. Pick five for a short source and twelve for a long one. Asking for twelve questions from three paragraphs produces thin, repetitive answers, so match the count to how many distinct facts the text holds.

  3. 03

    Written for

Customers gives plain second-person answers you can publish as they are. Internal support team gives the same facts phrased for an agent: what to check, where the exception is, when to escalate. Same source, different reader.

FAQ

Questions about this tool

It is drafted from the source only. The model is told to answer from the pasted text and nothing else, so a price, a date or a step that isn't in the text shouldn't appear in the FAQ. Models still misread, so treat the output as a draft: read every answer against the source before it goes on a page. That takes a minute; writing the FAQ from scratch takes an afternoon.
