- From website builds a working agent from your website. It drafts the name, greeting and instructions, and loads your pages as knowledge. Use it for your first agent and for most agents after that.
- Blank agent opens a form where you write everything yourself. Use it when you have no website, when your website doesn’t describe what the agent is for, or when you already know exactly what the instructions should say.
Who can create agents
Owners and admins can create agents. People with the Agent role work conversations, but can’t create or change agents. See team and roles. There’s no limit on the number of agents. Every plan includes unlimited agents and knowledge sources. See plans and limits. From your website

Build it
Click Build my agent. WireDesk reads a few pages of your site and drafts the agent, which takes about half a minute. Then it opens a chat with the new agent so you can try it straight away.
What it creates
Blank agent
Go to Agents → Blank agent. The form is titled New agent.
Click Create agent. The agent’s Overview opens, with a setup checklist of what’s left to do.
A blank agent starts with all three channels switched on, but it can’t answer calls until it has a number. Lead capture is on and Request a human is off, the same as an agent built from a website. It has no knowledge until you add some. See knowledge.
